World Shopping Day also know as Singles’s Day or Bachelor’s Day is observed annually on November 11th.

It is widely recognized as the world’s biggest shopping event.

It originated in China as Singles’ Day, a day initially celebrating single people on the date 11/11, which symbolically represents single individuals.

What began as a celebration among university students evolved into a massive online shopping festival, largely popularized and commercialized by Alibaba Group starting in 2009.
