World Television Day

World Television Day is observed annually on 21 November.

It is to recognize the impact of television as a medium of communication and its role in informing, educating, and connecting people worldwide.

Proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1996.

The day commemorates the first World Television Forum and highlights television’s contribution to decision-making, peace, and cultural understanding.
