World Youth Skills Day

World Youth Skills Day is observed annually on 15 July.

The day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014 to highlight the importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.

It promotes technical and vocational education and training (TVET), digital literacy, innovation, and lifelong learning.

The observance is marked through workshops, skills competitions, career guidance programmes, exhibitions, seminars, and youth empowerment initiatives worldwide.
