Himachal Pradesh Statehood Day – India

Himachal Pradesh Statehood Day, also known as Himachal Pradesh Foundation Day, is celebrated in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh on January 25. It is an official holiday and a non-working day in the state. On 18th December, 1970 the State of Himachal Pradesh Act was passed by Parliament and the new state came into being on 25th January, 1971.
