Goa Liberation Day

_{India did not get full independence in 1947. By that time, areas like Goa and Daman Diu were under the control of the Portuguese. Those areas were known as the Portuguese State of India. On 19th december 1961, The name was removed by ‘Operation Vijay’, and Goa gained independence. Every year december 19th celebrated as Goa Liberation Day.}
