World Cleanup Day

World Cleanup Day is observed annually on 20 September.

Proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2023, the day promotes worldwide action against waste pollution and encourages communities, governments and organizations to participate in cleanup activities and support sustainable waste management.
