Indian Coming Out Day

Indian Coming Out Day is observed annually on July 2nd in India.

The first Indian-Coming-Out-Day was celebrated in 2010. It commemorates the 2009 Delhi High Court verdict that decriminalized homosexuality in India.

The day is organized by Mist LGBTQ Foundation and aims to support individuals coming out and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community’s progress towards equality and acceptance
