International Non-Binary People's Day

International Non-Binary People's Day is observed annually on 14 July.

The observance was founded by Katje van Loon and first celebrated in 2012.

The day raises awareness of non-binary people and celebrates diverse gender identities.

The date was chosen because it falls exactly midway between International Women's Day (8 March) and International Men's Day (19 November).

It is observed during Non-Binary Awareness Week, which begins on the Monday preceding 14 July.

The week promotes understanding, visibility, equality, and inclusion of non-binary people through awareness campaigns, educational programmes, community events, and advocacy initiatives worldwide.
