International Sweatpants Day

International Sweatpants Day is celebrated every year on January 21. The history of sweatpants began in 1882 with the founding of French clothing, footwear and sporting goods company Le Coq Sportif. A few years later, in the 1920s, Émile Camuset, the company's founder, created sweatpants for athletes.
