Mahatma Gandhi made a historic visit to the All India Radio studios in New Delhi.

 On 12 November 1947, Mahatma Gandhi  visited to the All India Radio (AIR) studios in New Delhi.

 It was his only visit to AIR, where he recorded a message for the refugees from the Partition of India, addressing them with words of peace, hope, and compassion during a time of immense suffering.
