‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ became India’s highest-grossing animated film.

‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ set a significant record by becoming India’s highest-grossing animated film, surpassing ₹300 crore in gross worldwide box office collections by 29th August 2025.

The animated mythological epic was also a record-breaker for its production house, Hombale Films, and achieved the milestone of being the first Kannada film to sell over a million tickets on BookMyShow since 2023.

The film’s success was attributed to its significant word-of-mouth, family appeal, and excellent critical and public reviews.
