Nepal Republic Day

Nepal Republic Day, known as Ganatantra Diwas is celebrated on Jesth 15 of the Nepali calendar, which generally corresponds to May 27, 28 or 29 in the Gregorian calendar.

It is celebrated  It marks the historic day in 2008 when Nepal officially became a federal democratic republic, abolishing the 240-year-old monarchy.
