Rahul Sankrityayan (Kedarnath Pandey) an Indian author, Polyglot, playwrite, essayist, historian, scholar.

Sahitya Akademi award recipient. Father of Indian Travel Literature. He wrote books covering diverse subjects like sociology, philosophy, history, and travel, primarily in Hindi. He traveled across India, Sri Lanka, Tibet, and Europe, collecting rare manuscripts and writing on history, philosophy, and culture.
