Ukrainian Peacekeepers' Day

Ukrainian Peacekeepers' Day is observed annually on 15 July in Ukraine.

The observance commemorates the deployment of Ukraine's first United Nations peacekeeping contingent to the former Yugoslavia on 15 July 1992, honoring the service and sacrifice of Ukrainian peacekeepers in international peacekeeping missions.

Established as an official national observance in 2013, the day recognizes Ukraine's contribution to global peace, security, and humanitarian efforts.

It is marked through official ceremonies, wreath-laying events, memorial tributes, military commemorations, and activities honoring Ukrainian peacekeepers across the country.
