United Nations Public Service Day

The United Nations Public Service Day is celebrated annually on June 23rd.

It is to recognize the value and contributions of public service to communities and global development.

Established by the UN General Assembly in 2002 (Resolution A/RES/57/277), it highlights the role of public servants in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering effective governance.
