World Catholic Education Day

World Catholic Education Day is observed annually on the Feast of the Ascension, 40 days after Easter.

Initiated in 2002 at the Congress of the International Office of Catholic Education (OIEC) in Brasilia, it aims to reflect on, recognize, and celebrate the contributions of Catholic education globally.
