NCC Day – India

 NCC Day or National Cadet Corps Day or NCC Raising Day also known as World NCC Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of November in india.

The first operational units of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) were inaugurated at a function held on November 28, 1948.

This date, attended by key leaders like Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, is recognized as the official “Raising Day” of the NCC units.
