World Vegetarian Day

World Vegetarian Day or World Meat Free Day is observed annually on October 1st.

Established by the North American Vegetarian Society in 1977.

It brings awareness to the ethical, environmental, health, and humanitarian benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle.

Dont confuse with International Day Without Meat is celebrated march 20th every year and International Meatless Day/Sadhu Vaswani Jayanti is celebrated on November 25th every year.
