Marathwada Liberation Day - Maharashtra

Marathwada Liberation Day, also known as Marathwada Mukti Sangram Din, is celebrated in Maharashtra annually on September 17th.

It marks the historic 1948 integration of Marathwada with India when the Indian military liberated the State of Hyderabad and defeated the Nizam, 13 months after Indian independence.

This Marathwada Liberation Day stands as a powerful testament to the relentless struggles and supreme sacrifices of countless unsung heroes.
