Bhagat Singh who vowed to take revenge on John Scott, the Chief of Police who Beaten Lajapatirai to death with a lathi, along with his friends Shivaram Rajguru, Sukhdev Thapar conspired to kill Scott, but mistakenly they killed Assistant Superintendent of Police Sanders.
