Tyagaraja / Tyagayya (Kakarla Tyagabrahmam) an Indian vocalist, carnatic music composer, poet, saint, teacher.
He was a deeply devoted follower of Lord Rama. About 700 songs remain of the 24,000 songs said to have been composed by him. One of the “Trinity of Carnatic Music,” along with Muthuswami Dikshitar and Syama Sastri.
