World Deaf Day

World Deaf Day, also known as International Day of the Deaf, is observed annually on the last Sunday of September.

It is to raise awareness about the challenges faced by deaf individuals and promote their inclusion in society.

The day was established by the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) in 1958 and is part of International Week of the Deaf.
